A Compliance Retainer Agreement gives your firm guaranteed access to specialist compliance expertise when you need it most.
Instead of commissioning work on a project-by-project basis, a retainer provides an agreed number of hours each month dedicated to your regulatory needs, offering continuity, predictability, and a proactive approach to managing compliance obligations.
At Beal Cooper Compliance Ltd, our retainers are designed to compliment your internal resources, strengthen your governance framework, and ensure your firm is always prepared for regulatory scrutiny. There is often little notice before a regulatory audit, or to indicate there is a problem on the horizon, so having a robust but proportionate framework is key.
We don't offer rigid retainer products. Instead, the retainers are designed to work with a firm's needs, which will be agreed in advance, and can be split in different proportions between ad-hoc support and agreed outcomes each month.
A set monthly fee for that support allows firms to budget for compliance costs and to operate with confidence in their regulatory requirements.
Compliance Retainers for ongoing support
Who a retainer is suitable for
Our retainers are particularly helpful for:
- Firms without a dedicated compliance team, relying on one person to manage compliance alongside many other roles and/or client work.
- Firms that are growing and need additional compliance support but may not be ready for employing someone in a dedicated compliance role.
- Firms wanting to reduce reliance on ad-hoc projects.
- Firms wanting to approach compliance proactively, rather reactively.
